Originally from southwest Missouri, Andy Vickers grew up on a family farm raising corn, soybeans, hogs and cattle. A graduate of the University of Missouri, Andy’s career has spanned farms, fields and feedlots in 11 states before moving to South Dakota in 2020. In his current position Andy serves as the Agronomy Manager for POET Research where he focuses on sustainable agriculture and agronomy research in the biofuels industry. In his spare time Andy enjoys being outdoors hunting and fishing, shotgun shooting sports, woodworking, spending time with his wife and chasing after his three-year-old son.
