Shannon Taylor is employed at the Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress (UPCAP) where she oversees the Community Dispute Resolution Program. This twenty-eight-year-old organization is one of 16 centers throughout the state of Michigan that constitute the Citizen Dispute Resolution Program, a legislatively created program under the umbrella of the State Court Administrative Office (SCAO). The sixteen centers combined form the Michigan Community Mediation Association which serves as the administrative agency for the Michigan Agriculture Mediation Program.
